I run mine with an indoor setup. I use the 1950kv indoor tekin motor and 2 venom 100c shorties. It is kind of an in between setup versus those light weight setups. It helps the car change directions faster and also land better. Plus it isnt entirely overpowered for everywhere.

DROOP 101
Can someone educate me on how to use/adjust the droop screws? The ones that are right under the front and rear arms the can be adjust from the top with an allen.
What's the theory here? Adjust them out so the suspension has distance available to travel, these screws hanging down more block the arms? How does this affect performance in which kind of conditions, etc?
I searched a lot, have some idea, but it's slow in here so why not discuss for us rookies.

'nother newbie question:
First race when I show up at track, aside from spares and tools, etc etc, what does the track require from us? I assume we all need to have a way to eliminate radio cross talk. How is this achieved and do we supply it or does track provide it. I assume we can't just turn car and radio on and race sine some radios have the potential to control other cars.
I'm sick of driving in my yard and it's time to hit the track.

Nope. I have a 2.4 but I assumed if we all bought the same radio and the same receiver there must be some risk of one of the radios controlling more than one car? Maybe not.
What does a transponder do and do you need one to race? Buy one or does the track pro idea them?

Droop is the amount of down travel in the suspension. The more droop you have the more the chassis will pitch and roll, forward/aft and left/right. Think of it as a roll/pitch stop. Additionally more droop helps with rough tracks as the more travel helps soak up the smaller and more frequent bumps and ruts.
To set droop, you measure the length of the shock from screw eye to screw eye. Generally you want around 103mm front, 112mm rear.

Hey, this might be a silly question but where are most of you mounting your transponders in this car? There isn't much open room on the chassis anywhere so are you just putting them inside the receiver box? I didn't know if it being inside there would cause it to not count laps 100% of the time or anything like that.
