Did anyone else watch drakes neo interview? His ebuggy had the battery tray forward with the esc in the back. How can I do this?

My buddy let Cody Hollis run his 3.0 in the ice breaker awhile back. He had Adam help with his setup and that's what they ended up doing with the battery tray and esc. Says it has much better balance this way.

Would this setup be specific to this track/race? Cause it's a little disturbing that you buy a buggy that your told was designed a certain way for a reason (watch the amain video) then BOOOOM guys are changing the chassis layout, was Adam part of the testing for this buggy?

Yes, same here. This is really weird. The buggy was designed with batteries on the back, which is the opposite of what all the other cars on the market have. When the 3.0 e was released, I thought, TLR designers did their job and most certainly tried the two batteries position and after hours of testing, choosed the RIGHT position.
And then the pro drivers move the batteries the front...That actually looks like TLR wrongly designed the car :-).
I would be more than happy to have feedback from the team on this forum!

I've ran some of his setups in the past and typical of a pro level driver they were pretty aggressive. I know my buggy is easy to drive and stable and has just enough steering to get around the track but definitely less than the 2.0. Especially on power.

Maybe he's trying to get more aggressive steering out of the car. I'd like to try it but can't see the video so idk what kind of mods it takes.
