Ya I ended up opening them and they are the rears they were just labeled wrong thank god I didn't want to have to go through the bs of returning them and hunting down rear shocks . Thanks . By the way what weight oil you running in the rear with the. 1.3 pistons? 25 seems a little light to me.Also is it possible to get a shock tool set any where for 16mm shocks?

Also no need for the motor spacer at the back it will hit your motor and jack it out of alignment when the chassis flexes. I'm building mine as we speak.
would this be why i stripped gear after gear while using the plastic spur gears on my 2.0? sometimes all it would take s landing heavy off a jump and on the gas.
this turned me off using plastic spurs on a buggy, do you not have any problems using them?

So some of you guy know if you remove the motor spacer it makes you car more likely to strip your spur gear...

Car finally came in and got built this weekend. Starting with Billy Fischer's setup from The Dirt with the exception of front kick for my track. I was hoping to get to the track today, but I didn't quite finish in time, so it turned into a wrenching day. Looks like it has a week before I get it dirty...

After looking over some 3.0's its more like a 8ight-e 1.5 with dog bones :P Shock towers and buckles all going back to the 1.0 type/size, so the real difference is in the dog bone's.

I honestly don't see the 3.0 as being some big upgrade from the 2.0 at all. I bet the 2.0 guys will run with it no problem.

One of the big differences that you will definitely notice is the amount of droop you can get out of the 3.0.

I guess on the rougher tracks you might have a clear advantage if they have more droop but otherwise they are pretty similar. I'm gonna stick with my 2.0 for now unless I get a smoking deal on a 3.0
