I just got done with my first official race. It was fun because me and a guy with a losi xxx-t were side by side the whole race until the last lap where he did a jump just slightly better than me and took the lead by .5 of a second. Great race.

when i started racing i had a t3 ran that for 2 summers then sold it to race onroad. i got a killer deal on a xxxt mf1 last summe rthat i couldnt pass up so i figured i would try it to see if i would like it. all i can say is that losi cars get lots of play in them easily and there diffs suck. this year i borrowed a t3 from a fellow racer who hasnt ran it since 2 summers ago. it just so happens that it had my old setup from my t3 on it and it is so dialed. i won stock truck the frist night out with the car and had the fastest lap of the current layout. the t3 is a good car if you put iether losi or b4/t4 axles on the rear to widen it and if you do the castor block mod. makes it as wide as a t4. its so good i decided to buy it from him

Deffinat5rely dont get aluminium arms like someone mentioned, the arms are cheap enough to replace and are less likely to reck some more of the expensive components on the truck due to stress being put some where else. Stick with getting ti turnbuckles and id advise to get sum lunsford shock mounts for quick tuning

Aluminium arms would be the last thing i would get.

Just imagine if you crashed and you bent them..there goes $20

I would rather have something snapped then bent.

Default 2 quick T3 questions

Hi, I have a T3 and have 2 questions:
What shock oil should I start out with? I can't find my manual anywhere
What pinion/spur is the starting point for a 12turn double motor, with 15 degrees timing?

Around 15/90.

For shock oil start from 25w up to 40w depending on what you do with your T3.

I bought it for bashing a few years ago, but I'm planning on racing it in the future. As from what I've heard there's an offroad track being built near the place where I work.

I bought mine for racing but my charger sucks so I am saving up for a new one and I am getting a peak charger. cant wait, the quick chargers suck for racing batteries.
