Calibration is really very simple, you just press and hold the MODE button for 3 seconds to enter radio calibrate, let the speed control “find” your neutral, then let it “find” your full throttle and full brake

make sure the brown wire faces out and the Orange wire is faces inside. thr is throttle your lead for the ESC plugs into that slot. the servo lead st is for steering its under thr. plug them in with the brown wires on the pugs facing out.

Nick being a "newbie" is no excuse for NOT reading the instructions. I STRONGLY suggest doing so. You're messing with some high end racing level electronics that if you do something wrong, can be damaged.
