Default Pistons: Comparison diff amounts of holes and sizes

Anyone know of a way in general to compare different piston hole sizes and amounts? In general, usually stick with 1 type of piston and go with different hole sizes but I am curious, how something like the following would compare:

1.3mm x 8 hole piston

to

1.2mm x 10 hole piston

etc, mainly effective pack.

Depends on the piston, and shocks in question.

Turbulence = pack. The more turbulence you can create, the more pack you get. If the number of holes stays constant, a larger diameter hole will result in less pack.

Use the hole size to find volume, then multiply by the number of holes to find overall amount of flow.
