Default What is this (vintage) thing?

Guy hands me this today, he hasn't the faintest idea what it is, or what it's worth... if anything.

That made 2 of us, so far. Could someone pls clue us in? Thanks.

I was gonna jump all over that too but decided not too

A closer look that thing is ragged but will make an awesome car, check some youboob videos. Also get inspiration from the same chassis in a different version is the "Fast Attack" I like the limited "Shark Version"

Thanks again, guys. The owner has decided to get it going and bash it. I'll pull the vintage electronics out, and the shocks off and save them for a future resto or sale.

I'll post a pic when it's done. I'm open to any suggestions on making this a good rookie rig...

keep it brushless so the power is down, also will force some learning of maintenance on them. You should google some, there are several great vintage sites like RC10talk.com and others specific to Tamiya.

You meant "brushed", right? I agree.

I'm going to set it up with a 12T to start, and if he gets as addicted as I am we'll escalate as his skill does.

I have a thread here with my re-re with videos. Check it out to get an idea of what it can do. Mine is running a brushed motor and is hella fun to bash with. It,s titled Wild One re-re or My Wild One Re-Re. I think it's on page 4 or 5 in off road.
