Big track characteristics of SCB vs Stadium Truck

I run at a new track, just installed late last summer. The class fields aren't big, so we are trying to get together to get everyone interested in a limited number of body styles to race together. The track is best suited for 8th scale, but a lot of people already had some slashes and SC10's for bashing and have brought them out, so we are trying to set a standard for which 2WD class we will run.

The SCT's have issues landing the jumps, especially if there is strong wind. SCB's are a natural evolution of the SCT and jump much better on our track, but there is some concern about the long term existance of the class by the manufacturers.

How do Stadium Trucks fare in comparison to SCB's in a big air environment? They have bigger tires than their buggy counterparts, but do they still have trouble in loose and rutted environments like the buggies do? (1/10 buggies are simply a no go due to ruts and the amount of loose dirt that gets built up on their side and sometimes flips them if drifting through a corner.)

I might buy a used ST roller and try it out but was first wondering if I might be barking up the wrong tree.

To make a long story short.
No, they don't catch air as bad as SC's and Yes they can handle the terrain.

Its like a buggy on pillows the ST. Not as fun to drive on a smooth high grip track compared to 2wd buggy but loads easier on rutted and low grip tracks.
