Default LOSI XXXNT or Traxxas Rustler?

I'm just a basher with no intentions of ever racing and am debating whether to buy a stock LOSI XXXNT or a stock Traxxas Rustler.

I know the Rustler is fast, and I like that but was wondering if the LOSI is as fast or if there's any other great reasons for a basher to choose the LOSI over the Rustler? Thanks.

The rustler is a nice truck. But get the Losi. If competition is your goal the XXXNT is better. The rustler is good basher and can be a good racer too with mods.

The traxxas is more of a learner car and the Losi, while still an RTR, is more race based.

The guy stated he has no intentions of ever racing. That said I would go with the Rustler or maybe Jato? Had you had the intentions of racing I would have told you to get a xxxnt though as it is a very nice truck.

With the XXXNT you do get a better package. You get a better truck and better radio gear. However the XXXNT, as said above, is a race bred truck. It is pretty durable but maybe not enough for what you're doing? With a few small upgrades you can make a XXXNT a skate park basher.

All in all, it's a matter of how much money you want to spend.

Thanks for the replies. I already have a Revo and I ended up getting an Ofna MBX Ultra instead of either STs. *shrug* Go figure.
