Default whcih 1/10 electric?

Im looking for a 1/10 electric stadium truck. Im not going to use it for racing. I dont want to spend more that $300 for the truck and all the electronics + motor. I would prefer kits, but rtr is fine.

Three off the top of my head:

-Team Associated RC10T4 (Kit & RTR)
-Team Losi XXX-T (Kit & RTR)
-Duratrax Evader ST (RTR)

Off the three, the XXX-T and T4 are probably the best bang for your bucks. Both trucks are good bashers and racers, and they come with decent electronics for RTRs. The T4 is a bit cheaper ($230), while the XXX-T is about $280. Between the two, it's really a brand preference since both performs about the same.

The Losi is a little bit more expensive, but the electronics and radio system are much higher quality, which I think make it well worth it. The servo is more powerful and the ESC will handle faster motors.

If I had to do a RTR, I would want to make sure that the RTR is as current as the "Factory" level kit. From what I understand, the XXX-T RTR doesn't have the features of the MF2 as far as the revised tranny.

If this is true ( going off of what I have heard ), I would go with the RTR T4 so you are as close as possible to the FT level other than the obvious graphite, threaded shocks, etc. If you do decide to upgrade your vehicle, may be cheaper in the long run than the upgrade for the XXX-T to MF2 specs.

The electronics look to be better on the XXX-T however.

I have seen the T4 RTR for $199 shipped.

FT T4.
Motor B2k2
get a cheep esc (what you would be getting anyhow).
Used remote recever and cheep servo till you have the coin to get a decent one.

these are what i would suggest
Duratrax evader
Asoosiated RC10T4
Losi XXX-T

All those above would be good for racing and bashing...if your going to bash alot go for evader although i have heard people with xxx-t's bash hard and dont break anything...anyway any of those and you'll be safe there are probably others but those are the ones that came to mind.

Good Luck!

HeY!!!

there really aint a better truck unless you're comparing a losi vs a traxxas in racing, or else all of them are great for bashing, it's just that losi and ae are more preferred for racing....
and for the losi, ae battle it's just like ford, chevy, ford dodge, dodge chevy... how ever you wanna look at it.... it's what you prefer, of feel more comfortable with or what ever more people have where you race for help, or more parts availability.

I really want to see how far an Evader Pro would go with a full graphite kit and totally decked out with the "good stuff'"

The design of the Evader looks similar to the XXT, so I would assume how far that vehicle would go today versus vehicles like the T4 and XXXT.
