The first XX-4 came with no threaded shock but the XX-4WE kit dose. I have to e-mail matt and ask what size it is.

the med. and long shock bodies are used along with the long rear shaft .The front MIGHT be a short shaft but could be medium also.

I have to get one of those I have a 2wd which I like racing with but I also have a XXX-S and it has to have the best drive system ever. I've seen a XXX-4 conversion at the track, but the wheelbase is too short and it requires some tuning, but it's still very quick
I think I'll wait until they come out with a full option kit, what do you think Losi would call the special edition, Jukka Edition?

I think the car looks really "right" as well.

My concern though is weight - the xxx-s is heavy out of the box, so I hope this one is still within shooting distance of the off-road weight limit.

Looking back at the worlds cars, the team drivers were using graphite composite chassis (tell-tale grey colour), whereas that car looks like the standard Losi plastic.

It will come out like ever thing else with little to no hop up so you have to spend a ton of $$$ for the Hop up. That how they make their money and how they screws their customers.

This is a racecar it needs to have it for racers right out of the box. They lose some money on the hop up but make their customers happier.

I agree with you Taz and Im sure everyone else agrees but thats how they make their money. Ever wonder how much it costs them to make the parts for these cars? They come out with something new, we all go out and buy it, then the graphite parts start coming out, we buy all of em. Various aftermarket manufacturers make their own aluminum parts, we buy them. Then we add titanium. Before you know it we all spend a ton in upgrades. Then, months maybe a year later when one of their drivers wins a "big" race they come out with his version of the car decked out with everything, and costs half as much as the upgrades separately, but this is business and its very profitable for them. Thats why they are producing kits they make $$!! We all wanna go faster and want something new, so its understandable. What I wanna know is why do we all have to wait so d**n long?!?! I want my XXX4 kit now!
