Hi there,

I've got a HPI Blitz with skorpion body, running a blitz flux esc/motor setup. I've popped some AKA Enduros on there and well, they balloon so much during general running that they're hitting the front of the wheel arch and doing damage.

Any way around this without cutting the body or limiting the motor?

Did you punch holes in the tire body with a leather punch? Enduros are one of my fav tires, and with the red inserts don't balloon as much as say HB beams or megagrids or so.

Ahhh no.. Didn't realise I was supposed to.

I can rectify that though. One of the tyres has come unglued enough for me to get inside and punch a hole. The other seems to have torn one of the 'knobs' away leaving a hole, so it's sorted.

Not terribly fussed on them so far.

Also keep in mind, on full throttle, it will still balloon the same, just release air faster. Also the closed cell inserts help.

Taped the insides and it has helped a bit. They still balloon quite a lot, but a bash out the front showed a near complete lack of the bodywork taking hits.

You can always raise the body a little bit.
