interesting with the mip bypass shocks,we looked at them but seemed like to much tuning involved for minimal gains. never seen them in pro setup sheets.how many are using them here? could be gimmicky maybe not? youd think the pros would all be using them if they really worked much better.

The bypass shock setup works well. I have one 2.0 with and one 2.0 stock. There is an improvement, but both can be made to work well and either can make the podium. I think the bypass is an advantage if you like to tune your shocks to perfection or enjoy trying something new.

anyone have a list of the updated features on the kit coming out. They're still showing back ordered everywhere. Looking to pick up a kit found out its a big class at the local outdoor class I'll be running at this summer. Just got the 22 sct 2.0 and found out they only have a couple guys in 2wd so I figure I'll wait on the electronics until fall and grab a 4 wd. Thanks

We ran stock pistons as well... truck was really good... no doubt!!
And it can be easy to tune yourself right out of the ball park no matter what parts you are using.

We had some good help getting the MIPs set up so I won't take credit for much of the experimentation. We've never been lower than 25 or higher than 35wt. I can see lap time differences, but really cant tell any difference in 'feel' moving up or down 2.5... stock or MIP. But when you hit the sweetspot... the clock never lies!!!!

Plenty of info if you search this thread over the past 3 months. Updated plastic throughout, upgraded ring and pinion gears, better gearbox tolerance. Since every part has been reviewed I have high expectations. We should get some details in a few days.

I just hope when they do give us a updated parts list that there is some way to know for sure they are the new parts over the existing parts. I have an existing truck and we are coming to the end of our indoor season unless he is going to run year round. And I would like to go through my truck and replace what is needed especially in the gear boxes, but don't want old parts if the new are improved.

Anyone know of a hobby shop or racer that has a bce chassis for sale? Looking for a hybrid or 2.0 chassis. New only. Thanks.

Hacker, will there be a way to determine when you order if your getting the updated kit? I have one on the way from Amain that I preordered about a month ago. I'm assuming it's the new one.

I believe the easiest way is the truck on the cover is now green. SCTE has been out of stock for quite a while. Amain will have all new stock.
