Its a 2.3 front sway bar from the losi 8ight buggy. You just need to cut the end downs so the steering links dont touch.

I would say this #LOSA1750 it's a little pricey to me just to use 1 sway bar out of it.

ASK your local TLR For life guy, He will most likely give you the bars you want. I have a Ridiculous amount of sway bars from over the years of kits.

Would a Hitec 965mg servo be sufficient for the scte? Works great in my 2wd sct, but unsure about 4wd.

These are it's stats-
Speed (4.8V/6.0V): 0.13 / 0.10
Torque oz./in. (4.8V/6.0V): 111 / 139

Also anyone use a SP GT 2.0 pro with either a tenshock 4600kv or HW 4000/4600kv motors?

Thanks

Had some troubles in the beginning of the build process. Took the truck out to my indoor clay track this past Friday and performed great on the box stock setup. Gonna make some changes to it and hopefully race it Tuesday as long as I can drop the temperature of the motor some. Running a 15t now and picked up a 13t for it. Finally got around to painting the body today for it. Im please with how it came out.

I'm looking for some help in making a decision for a ESC and Motor. I just purchased the 2.0 kit and some miscellaneous parts, so funds are rather low right now. A buddy of mine is not using the Dynamite Fuse combo from his Ten-Rally X and is willing to sell the combo to me for $110. There has been a lot of recommendations in this thread about ESC / Motors from Tekin, Hobbywing and Tenschock, but since funds are low, I'm trying to figure out what to do. The Fuse ESC specs seem similar to HW and Castle offerings, so I'm curious if it's simply rebranded. It might not be the best option race wise, but it would be a way for me to practice / bash until I have some spare funds. Based on this thread, here's what I've been looking at:

HW SCT Pro / Tenshock SC411 4000kv - $90ea = $180
HW SCT Pro / HW 4000kv combo - $190
Mamba Max Pro SCT / 3800kv combo - $220
Tekin RX8 / Tenshock SC411 4000kv - $210 + $90 = $300

I know the Fuse combo is only $70 less than the HW / Tenshock combo, but I still need to pick up a couple of batteries and tires for the SCTE. Deciding between the following batteries, but open to suggestions:

SMC 2S 50C 5000 - $32.95
Turnigy Nano Tech 2S 65C 6000 - $40.32
SMC 2S 70C 6500 - $44.95

I was thinking of getting the Fuse kit for now, save up for better electronics and when the time comes sell the Fuse kit.

Thoughts... Opinions... Recommendations... all welcomed.

get the hobbywing sct pro and 4000kv motor. have this setup in my practice scte 1.0 upgraded to a 2.0 with a bce chassis and it feels just as fast if not faster than my race scte 2.0 with tekin 4600/rx8 combo. also would get nano techs. been running these since the nanos came out and all of them still work perfect, no swelling and all of them still balance perfectly. bought 4 smc's last December and 3 of the 4 went bad. 2 puffed and 1 cell died in another. wont buy another smc

I agree with the Hobbywing SCT Pro and 4000kv motor. As far as batteries go, I've had great luck with SPC myself. Have had horrible luck with Gens Ace. Everyone has their own opinion with batteries.

would using a little bit heavier oil in the front shocks do the same thing as using a thicker sway bar ? or would it just change the handling in a different manner ?
