Just got mine up and running today. Have a rx8 with a pro 4 4600kv motor. Thing has tons of power. Almost to much. It seems very loose when you let off the throttle. Also has major torque steer when you mash the sticks. I took some drag brake out and that kept the ass from being as loose off power but still wants to come around side ways with some brake applied. I have the throttle profile on the most aggressive setting on the rx8. Should I maybe make it more linear to take the torque steer out? All suspension is setup per the manual for factory setup.

I installed mine just like that and it rubbed. Body should be closer to the front bumper. Mine ended up with four extra holes so i covered them with stickers. Doesn't look that good but anyways SC bodies doesn't last long...at least on my hands.

I've talked to Bill about a year ago, He had something in the works for the 1.0 at the time. I haven't spoken to him since.

The biggest and best upgrade I did to the 1.0 was a BCE chassis.
Thanks for the reply, The first 2.0 turned up to race at our track today, I was surprised how much weight was still on the front end, diden't seem to perform to well in our conditions, but I'm aware it was the cars first time out, our tracks laps are 30 seconds and I put a lap and a half on him, and I was just crusing for the win under no pressure, I also did a PB lap time today.

Really in two minds to mod my 1.0 to motor and battery layout specs of the 2.0, but I do still nose dive off the bigger jumps.

So keen to hear from others who have gone to the 2.0 from the 1.0 on steering and jumping on a loose track.

I went from a 1.0 too a 2.0 on a fairly loose track. My 1.0 is almost stock though with only carbon towers and a few durability mods. My 2.0 jumps much better and is more controllable in the air. It turns in better has less mid corner understeer and has rear more grip out of corners. I beat my PB by 0.8 of a second on my first drive with the new truck and I'm still getting faster and more consistant.

if you bought it as a RTR you bought the SCTE 1.0 as we call it but its just the Losi SCTE to where this is the TLR SCTE 2.0(true name) and this comes as a kit and you put it together, its not a RTR

As for the difference its all between the axles mainly other than the CF shock towers and upgraded HD diff housings as it is totally rearranged on the center of the chassis for better weight distribution

Losi SCTE

TLR SCTE 2.0
