I've got a tuning question that gets down to a pretty detailed level. I'm a bit sluggish turning in but a little tail happy exiting the turn. It seems like a roll center imbalance but I'm not positive. What would you all do to fix this?

hope this helps.

i'd love to see a picture of this as well. I don't think I'm set up that way and don't fully understand exactly what you're talking about.

On the steering links; the ball ends have a washer/spacer on one side. Put the washer up on the bellcrank (ball will be at the bottom (Bump down)). At the spindle; put washer down (ball will be up) and also put a 2mm spacer under the washer.

An easy trick is to unhook the front sway bar and give it a run. I find on small to medium sized tracks running with no front sway to be the ticket. On bigger faster tracks you will notice some lift and roll thru fast big sweepers with out it.The new dunford set up has a ton of steering in it as well Cheers!!

Got it. I think I'm set up like that currently, but will check tonight.

My biggest issue with the steering on the 2.0 is the ackerman screws keep backing out of the bellcrank. I've had 2 DNF's in the past month as a result. I just picked up the ST aluminum version and will use some blue locktite on these. Hopefully it helps. In either event, I've broken 3-4 things on this truck already and I've only been racing it for 2 months.

Anyone else finding certain parts (outside of the ackerman issue mentioned) of this truck to be fragile? Specially the CV coupler set up for the driveshafts (I wore 2 of those out and they snapped) and the Rear Bumper (broke 2 of those already as well). I run on a big track with some large jumps, but nothing this truck wasn't designed to handle.

Hello Casper. I want to change my setup to Hacker's new setup. I want to buy Diff oils and large bottles. Do you have any recommendations or part numbers for the diff oils?

Thanks

If you want bigger bottles and top notch oil check out Pt racing oils.
