Hey guys need some gearing advice, I have some races coming up with 10 minute mains...need to know what pinion would give me the longest life with a 6000mah?

Run a 14 tooth..... and in the Main just check in and race no warmup lap! You can do it!

How should we know? Your driving will make a difference, your track conditions, and your Esc and motor combo.

I get ~17 mins on my 5000mah ... So I'd think your 6000 should be plenty for a main.

I'm running 15t mmp / 3800kv 4pole castle
My track is high traction indoor clay

Would a lower pinion reduce draw?

it has been mentioned alot and it does get old people asking certain things as this IS SOMETHING that needs to be added to the first page along with a title change as ive said before stating "READ FIRST POST" as that first post should have the most up to date info on this truck even if its not a TLR/Losi part as it is a great upgrade due to having a the larger hex head and less of a chance of stripping

I usually run a 14 pinion on that combo but our mains are only 6 minutes long. Make sure your punch and timing are at 1 and a 12 or 13 pinion might get you 10 minutes. If not then lower the epa on throttle or get some 7200 batteries.
