I can't help it haha, once I sell my slash 2wd I'm buying another 2.0 kit for a few reasons, my slash has been sitting around for awhile now, I love my current 2.0, I want to build it again, also next week I'm going to have another motor/esc combo and I have a extra servo laying around waiting to mount on to a new chassis and the list can keep going, when I built my first 2.0 I couldn't get to a legit track so I've been running it at a local private track outdoors and it's kinda ruff and what not so I'm going to keep my first 2.0 for outdoor tracks and my new build I'll have setup for SDRC since I'll be living in sandiego and mainly will be at that track which is indoors, all the other tracks around here are pretty big and outdoor which I'll use my first 2.0 for, overall this truck is great and I can't wait to build it again

Default First Run

I was impressed with the on power outta turn....very nice...but i had traction roll semi off throttle..truck seemed to dive front first into a hard right hand sweep....i had some drag with front diff when assembling...kinda a rough spot which i was told by casper was kinda normal....my front drag was nominal at most...just curious....

Ya i noticed my front pinion was rubbing my front diff case which kind of wore a groove into the side of the diff. On traction roll issues check ride height and droop....if those are fine try a different tire and or drive slower through that section.

Hey Guys,

My new 2.0 kit will be here Friday! I plan on racing this thing and was just wondering what batteries are you running? I noticed a lot of you are running 1/8th scale electronics, are you also racing with 3 and 4 cell batteries? I'm new to racing and the SCTE. Thanks.

Most run the 1/8 esc, for example RX8, but they still run 540 4pole and 550 motors with 2s lipos. I would look at SMC, they have some 7200 70c for an awesome price.

Almost everywhere you can only race 2 cell LiPo'S max. With a good motor like a Tekin 4000 or 4600 it is plenty of power.

Honestly i run the 120 amp Brushless Hobbies LT4 ESC and its good and you cant beat the price $67.00 ! Just mount the cap board on to something. Theres good support for it to on here !

As for motor the Tenshock 4600kv motors are good and powerfull and do come in a Sensored ED. However there stll out of stock on Built R/C

But for $89.00 to cheaper you cant beat it !

Lipos the G-Force 2s 50c to higher ive had good luck with them. And theres Vant lipos at thebardyardfloor.com.

I lowered the ride height a bit to help with traction rolling on one of our step up turns and that was pretty much all I needed to do.

So now onto the problem:
The center diff seems like the ends where the cvd go into has ALOt of play. Like way more than normal. Gonna take it apart and see if the bearing or pin or something broke ....

Wondering if a metal front diff brace and cf diff top will stiffen it up
Here is a video of the diff ... Is this wobble normal?
