What is the best way to use each tank for break in of a OS .18 TM on a REVO?

You'll probably get ten different answers to your question. So I'll start by saying break in to your manuals specs is the best bet.

I start em, and blip the throttle until it gets to 200* and shut it off. Rotate flywheel to bottom dead center, and let it fully cool. Then do it again, getting it to 200*, shut off and cool. Even if you have to lean it out to get it to 200. Do that about 4 times, then you're ready to drive it around the driveway varying the throttle and making sure the temps are around 200-220. Do that for a tank or two and far as I'm concerned you're ready to race.

Anywhere from 200 to 260. Depends where you find the performance you like. The richer/cooler the longer it'll last.

If you have trouble getting the temp to 200 take a rag and wrap it around the head.

The idea is to heat cycle the engine to 200 deg and then it cool several times. The old school method was to run the engine sloobering rich at a very low temp (120 deg) for several tanks of fuel. The new method is to get the engine running and put in on the ground immediately. Temp the engine to 200 deg. for 3 minutes and then shut it down and let it cool competely. Keep doing this for 5-10 tanks of fuel and then tune it for racing. The heat cycling sets the piston and sleeve. The theory is that the engine should last longer and perform stronger. I've done this on my RB Concept engines and it seems to work well.

450 should do fine, just kidding Kevin. I would say dont go any hotter than 260. Also make sure to use fuel with 12% oil content thats what o.s. recommends. Trinity Montster Horsepower 20% would be fine

everyoen is going to tell you there "secret or their way" I would JUST SAY FOLLOW teh manuals procedures, afterall they are the maker of teh engien so they knwo what to do. jsut break it in as per manual
