When I was younger I would DROOL over this tamiya catalogue I had. The fox with its gold wheels, the bruiser in all its glory, the avante......Oh, then then the goddamn striker

This thing was reincarnated as the ever infamous FX10. Crappy car but would run great for a while if done up properly though the front end bounced up and down like crazy. One of my buddies was the stingiest RC guy in the history of RC racing and he bought an FX10 and raced the crap out of it. Once ran into a cement nail with the outer left and when the chassis caught right in front of the side pod… KABLAMO!!!

There were about 3,000 pieces of plastic littering the track. It was pretty cheap at I think $49 or $59 for the kit.

As an MCD Race Runner V4 loyalist, I really have no room to talk, but the Team Magic M1B, while innovative at the time, always struck me as having a fascia only it's designer could love...

The losi touring car with all the belts and batteries going in from the bottom was one of the strangest looking cars ever to me

i have MUCH love for the rc10 - especially since my first car was an aluminum chassis stealth team car.....but daaayyyyuuuummmm was the champ ugly, from the narrow front stance, to the horribly weird looking arms, to the stubby-ness of the body, wing, etc. lol
