Tekin 2000KV or Castle 2200KV for 1/8 Truggy?

Go with the Tekin 2250kv motor. It's the only Y wound motor in that range for the truggy, and star (Y) wound motors are more efficient, and respond better to boost. I use that motor in my D8T with an LRP iX8 speed control, and it makes amazing power, is very smooth, and stays cool. I use 14/50 gearing with a 4.3:1 diff ratio, and the truck is phenomenal.
Team Orion also makes a series of truggy motors, and personally if you didn't want the tekin, I would consider one of those over anything castle.

I've raced both the 2000kv an 2250kv on 4s and I find that both work well. However I prefer the 2000kv due to the better bottom end and midrange. The 2250 has a bit longer legs and does respond better to timing however often we're over powered anyways
