I forgot to mention that my truck was purchased rtr with the reedy lipo batt and charger but I also bought a venom 25c 5000 that I was using at the time when it started to act up

Id check and see if anything is binding up. Take the pinion off and see if the transmission spins freely. Id also check the mesh between the pinion and spur, the motor may have moved forward causing way too tight gear mesh.

Thanks for the advice I took the inspection cover off and everything is normal I replaced the factory motor adjustment screws with some aftermarket ones that the guy at the hobbie shop recommended the first time that the motor shifted forward and was hard to spin the tires but this seems like a transmitter or controller problem like I am throwing it in reverse and then accelerating full speed again...

My charger is also taking forever to charge the battery's compared to my friends who bought the same car the same day as I did. The charger is the Reedy 526-s

If you bought it at the LHS, I'd take it back to them. ASAP

Thanks I will try to reprogram speed control. If that does not work I will be going to the local hobby shop to try to see if they will do anything with this charger
Thanks again
