This is a stupid thread, off coarse you like your newest high dollar ride! I have 2 older xxxnt's that I love, 1 t3 that I just went thru, 2 t4.1, 2 slash 4x4 and a evader ext. Wont get rid of any of them, wish I had my Frog and Grasshopper that I started with! That being said I like driving my slash 4x the most (more durable than my Losi or AE) Just ordered a STRC lcg chassis to get a little better handling and still be more durable!

What i was meaning was if your driving a 2wd SC truck thats not made for racing out of the box from exprience its just better to buy a box stock 2wd Race ready Sc for around the same price or a little more.
The 4x4 SC like the Slash is diffrent because you can add some aftermarket parts to it for racing and it would still be the same price or cheaper than buying the other 4x4 SC racing trucks. Although i do see guys with heavy modified Slashs are really tweaking on them or repairing things more.

i am not a hater of any brand...but i think that i can speak for most, certain vehicles r not consistent enough in a race(traxxas mostly, the slash, rustler..or even the stampede) they r manufactured for bashing in the backyard, and thats about all, if u race in a good race with ppl that can accualy drive, if ur not running somthing good u r not gonna make it...js
