Think they are the Yaiba's look at the little logo.

First thing do not overtighten the screws on the diff case, tightening them about 3/4 then alternate the screws across from each other until its sealed, but dont tighten them so much the plastic flexes, just so it seals. Most gear diffs even when built properly will weep or leak fluid, I dont run one in my B4.2, but I do in my RC8.2e and it weeps a tiny bit.

Hi Guys

I finally found some time to make some mods to my b4.2 now I have some shorty battery's to use,
I installed the associated ECU mount and an MIP alloy top shaft, both seemed to help when I did some testing today,

I wouldn't have thought the ECU mount makes a difference but it does help rotation even on a slightly less grippy track, my car felt really good, even when the tyres started to loose their nubbins... as you can see in the photo :)

I ran my normal reedy 601 battery's back to back with the 602's to see what the difference was. The 601's still have way more punch and hold their voltage better, but I was driving more smoothly with the 602's and you could really feel the car was 100grams lighter.
Ill have to wait until the next club day with timing to see where the real advantage is (im running stock by the way)

It's been awhile since I ran a gear diff in spec sct but isn't the case different between gear and ball diffs for AE?
Are you trying to put the gear diff in a ball diff case?

+1. He also ran these hubs at the Cactus Classic on his B44.2.

Look close at the front shock tower too. Inner fourth hole. We at my local track have been doing that for a couple months now. Great minds think alike.

Those are definitely Yaiba hubs. You can see the white logo above the bearings.
