I think its as good of a place to start as any. I ran my car with kit setup for the first couple weeks to break it in. It was a little pushy on high bite indoor but not bad.

I'm running box stock with an 8.5 turned down to 60% right now! The car still can clear everything that we have at our track, and aside from our really off-camber corner, the car handles better than I thought it would...

This is my first 2wd buggy, and after 2000mah of practice (busted ball cup ended my night) I'm already pulling faster laps at 60% than I was with my 2wd SCT running the same electronics at 100% throttle.

Our track is a big 1/8th clay track that gets a little loose off the groove. Holeshots are working well with ribbed fronts so far.

Try some JConcepts 3D's in Blue.

I have found where Holeshots work, the 3Ds work even better.

why putting the ESC up high? isnt it better to keep the CG as low as possible?

I am not 100% sure but I think they are trying to increase roll, hight center of gavity, low roll center, I could be wrong though

With the 3d's. They get even better when the lug wears down to about 50%. Just FYI.

I'm no where near good enough, nor will I likely to ever be good enough to tell a difference. It's just another expense I don't need nor involve myself with more headaches wondering which setup works best.

If I improve my driving enough I'll eventually tinker with some other settings, but, not mounting my ESC up high.

It is a Centro conversion for the B4 series of cars, It is manufactured by CML which is AE's european distributor. Cav, Kody and Brent all ran them at one of the EOS races in germany in april.
