2 Questions!

Are they going to be in yellow?:confused::confused:

And when can we expect to be able to order some?!?! :tire::tire::tire:

Availability question would be best answered by PW. I think only black is available at this time for the new ball cups.

Type of motor , set-up & battery determine ballast weight & location ...

Cav was just here over the weekend. He was just running the ballast weight and a 1/4 ounce in each rear triangle with a shorty pack and his esc on a tray

I wanna start from scratch so if anyone wants to give me some setup ideas i will try them. The track is a higher grip track that fades to the dryer side by the end of the night. Lots of big long turns anf a few really tight turns.

Thanks
Jared

Try adding 2 limiters in the front shocks to reduce downtravel.

Quick quedtion, is the inline esc good on med - low bite tracks too (outdoor dirt / carpet is what I run on)
Anyone that tried this?

Can someone help me understand what it means when your car "pushes" in turns?

I'm trying to understand the terminology a bit. I think what Jared is describing is whats happening to me and my car but not sure if I understand exactly what "push" means.

Thanks.

Pushing = understeer. Hooking = too much grab/spinning out. If your car pushes or hooks noticeably, I would first check to make sure you're on the right tires on front and rear.

If you are going to use Ryan's set-up ?
Details for all his set-ups are posted on www.rc10.com.

They include where to use ballast weights ....

His Reedy Race setup (where he had the speedo mounted on the shelf), he added an additional 40g into the battery pad. Thx for the pic!

Push is when the front wheels are turned left or right but the buggy goes straight, or at least doesn't turn as sharply as the wheels are turned. Also refered to as understeer, or compared to a boat or tractor.

loose is when the rear tires slide & the buggy turns quicker than what the front wheels are turned. Also refered to as oversteer or hook or compared to a whip, a snake, or a female with rather liberal morals:lol:.

Each of these situations can occur at the begining of the turn (turn in under braking), in the middle of the turn (neutral or no power), or on exit (on power). The fix for each section of the turn is different & is typically a trade off for the other end of the turn (i.e. the fix for on power push will typically create more push on turn in). If your problems are the same all the way through the turn, you are probably on the wrong tires on that end (this is not to say you don't have setup issues also:sneaky:).

You get less compression damping (you will bottom out landing jumps more) & more rebound damping (the shock will "packup" or not return to full length between bumps leading to bottoming on bumpy straights).

In other words:
