Hi all,
Just looking for some info on my B4, need more speed down the straights, looks a lot slower than the newer TLR 22, BL Novak 17.5 72/36, large out door track, any info would be helpful.

I'm running 33/69 on a Reedy 17.5 with 25 degrees of timing. Seems to be as fast as everyone else in 17.5.

As far as I am aware everyone is running the standard 2 hole over from the inside of the car.

So that's the middle hole since there is 3 holes, right?

Only used for its weight.

Usually when traction is very high ..

The plastic version is a lot lighter and performs best on most track conditions...

Do you know the weight difference between the standard bulkhead and the aluminium one?

Thanks

I have an EZRUN 8.5t combo that is currently on an SC10 of mine. Going to be building up a b4.2, just wondering will this fit and will the power be ok for the buggy? Any insight would be fabulous, thank you.

It "should" fit. 8.5 is plenty of power in the b4. I had the xerrun 120 amo in my buggy, but it was tight and worked best with the fan off. But you probably dont want to remove the fan with an 8.5 motor.

The fan wont do anything if its mashed against the body. Best to take the fan off.

The big bore kits come with all neccessary hardware to mount on the .1 cars.

Aren't the shock towers a little different on the 2 compared to the 1?

yes but you dont have to have them. The kits come with everything needed to mount them to a .1 car. .2 towers have the shim built into the front and a little bit of material removed from the rear.

Yes, it is shaved right under where the holes are to give the shock cap some room to move when compressing and decompressing.
