Default Stock 3300kv motor for SC10

Is the stock 3300kv motor for the SC10 2wd an adequate motor?

If you consider it pretty weak, what would you recommend?

Obviously I'm not a seasoned racer, but, don't wish to get "smoked" by everyone else in the SCT class. (non-mod)

adequate is a good choice of words, More power would be "faster" but lap times may suffer. Drive well and win grasshopper.

"Motors not make one fast"
"Speed matters not!"

Just a couple quotes from the RC Yoda

the 3300kv is equal to a 13.5, so if you are racing against 17.5s you should have a upper hand on them speed wise, but not crashing and being consistant will make you faster than any motor will
