Default Slash 4x4 vxl esc with crawler motor questions

I recently purchased a slash 4x4 offline and it came with a vxl 3s esc and a 18.5 sensored based Novak
Brushless motor . And 3 lipo battery's . I am just wondering if I should put stock velineon motor on it or
What motor I should install if this is not good . I am not going to race thi truck probably just ply around in
driveway and lightly bash .thanks

Running a novak sensored motor is going to be a better motor than a stock velineon motor. That being said, the 18.5 is going to be a significantly lower RPM motor. What voltage are the lipos you got? 3s packs would probably make that truck run quite well, but 2s packs would probably be a little slow on the top.

2200 mah - sky lipo . Should I run a certain gearing setup with that motor

Well I have a venom 3s 11.1v 5400 mah that I will probably run in it some but I'm not sure how many cells those sky lipo batteries are ill have to check later

that traxxas motor will be much faster, and probably a lot more reliable than the novak..

Oh ok the guy up top said the crawler was faster . The truck came with 3 cell 11.1 40c continuos burst 2200 mah sky lipo ultimate charge series. If you feel like the crawler Novak is slower and less reliable what motor do you recommend I install

th crawler motor is most likely an 18.5t. maybe 2500ish kv. the traxxas is a 3500kv 10t its much faster... just run that. they are solid motors

Yea well I guess I will remove the crawler would you say I need to buy a stock velineon motor or order like a viper or tekin something like that

if you plan on just running it around your house, the velineon motor is perfect. viper and tekin motors are fast, but a bit more delicate.
