Depends on the size of the track and the scale of the car. If it is a big track with 1/10th cars, then a technical layout is my preference. If it is a big track with 1/8th buggies, I like either type of layout

What is your preferred race class?

E-1/8th buggy, 1/10 4wd buggy.

You could have one track suit both 1/8 and 1/10. I say just have an inner section with two lanes, a big air jump section for 1/8 and a techy rhythm section for 1/10. The rest of the track can consist of your standard high speed straight, and double/tripple section, and a little bumps section or whathave you. Don't make it to tight and twisty for 1/8, but twisty enough for 1/10

What scale would you like a Track to focus on? BOTH--You will limit your prospective customers if you make the track too small for 1/8 scale or wtih stupid 40 foot jumps that only 1/8's can actually land. My local outdoor track combines it---ie they have a large quad that 1/8's love & the 10th scale buggy's or 2wd sc's can double-double or triple single etc. It's not hard to make the track fun for all skill/car abilities.

1/10th 1/8th Both

Do you think its important to have track side electricity available for charging batteries?

Yes No-------YES--most people will not have a generator for their own power source. If you do not supply electricity you will get a few guys with generators but most people will stop by & run a couple packs then leave, vs staying all day.

Do you prefer a tight and technical layout or a Fast and basic layout?

Techincal Fast-------Depends on how large the track is. If it's on the smaller size then, by definition it must be tight & technical. I prefer both. I would like technical sections to create some separation between bashers & true racers but also like fast flowing sections too.

What is your preferred race class?
4wd sc
2wd sc
1/8 buggy electric

It all depends on what are the popular classes in your area. Where is this located?

In order:

Both, but more toward 1/8th scale.

Yes, do you want to have the potential of hearing generators running all day?

I like a fast and flowing track.

I like 2wd Mod SC and 1/8 ebuggy.

Do what YOU THINK IS BEST
If you don't have that knowledge and you want to run a business you will fail.
The opinion of someone across the country who knows nothing about the needs in your area has no validity.

In Ontario, are you going indoor or outdoor or both at one facility. If you're outdoor, you're killing your operational time because of weather.
