This is my local track. These vids are from an old layout but the new layout is even better.

We currently have 5 K1s, 6 SX3s and a couple of Cugars.

Yer it has its sections which are loose and other parts you will grip role. We all use 5000mah + i use 6800mah IP packs pushed to the back. Its a big track its about to get remodeled again, you can see why a lot of the setups you blokes use just simply don't work for us. I hope this you a bit of an insight into Australian racing. This has some big meets planned for this year I'll post some more.

Personally I would love to drive on your clay indoor tracks, it would be interesting to see how you would go on our big outdoor multi surface tracks as well........never know maybe one day.

That track looks like our average 1/8 track over here.. so it wouldnt be that big of a deal to get 1/10 setup for it. We tend to keep the two classes separated.

Yer we don't have much choice tracks are so far and few between we have to accommodate both classes, pity its not as big here as it is in the states.

Your guys track is very similar to ours, I bet we end up pretty close. Mikes car TQd and won first time out, so the std shocks work pretty good. I like the BBs because you can go several races between rebuilds/re-oil before they start getting air.

I curious when you guys limit them, and why? not attacking just asking for my own knowledge.

I limit my rear's up travel to prevent the axel from being nicked by the out drive. Initially I had 6mm to also help prevent the chassis from scraping but the 1.2mm pistons and a little thicker oil has helped with that issue. So, now I only use 2mm of limiters for the nicking issue... You might even get by with 1mm. It's real close though.

LOL, not hiding.

You won't be able to find a 44 if we can get all the CATS out there on the same day.. It won't be so easy getting to the front then...

Dude, I was standing next to Owen on the drivers stand, in the lead. All of a sudden I hear Owen mumbling, here kitty, kitty... I started laughing, almost crashed (as usual).. I was able to finish ahead of him, but just barely..

Hey, go find your own thread... j/k..

I'm lurking because I am considering a 4wd buggy and I'm having a hard time deciding between all of the great buggies out right now. My short list is the K1, SX3 (great deals to be had), and the B44.2. I'm honestly leaning toward the SX3 S1 because of the insane cost savings but I'm worried about replacement parts availability. The B44.2 gets the nod because of great AE support around me.

I copied this post with the video because it's amazing to me how stupid SC trucks look on the track compared to buggies. Lumbering blocks of goofiness they are. SC got me back into the hobby but man do I have disdain for them now. Look silly, jump horribly and the races turn into a demo derby half the time. *Deep breath* Okay, I feel better now...
