Default Would this be a good buggy for me?

I was looking for an RTR buggy. However I know that most RTR R/Cs are not all that "racy". I saw this Ofna 9.5 MBX RTR buggy and I thought that the features were not bad for an RTR. Looks as if it can be raced and have a good chance of keeping up with the others. Pay no attention to the motor, because I have a Picco .21 from someone else's buggy. However if this motor is good I will go ahead and race it to see just how it does.

To my knowledge, the MBX is not a racer-kit.

The 9.5 itself is more of a play car really.

It's not well supported by hobby shops & it's generally just not raced.

The Hyper 7 is a more popular choice, go with the PCR rtr version if you can.

For the extra $170, what is better on the PCR?

Have you ever seen the Hot Bodies Lightning 2. It come as a RTR for 399.99 or the PRO for 429.99. The Pro has all of the hop ups already on it but comes with no electronics or engine. The buggy is extremely tough and really good for racing. The buggy is redesigned for a lower cg. Travis Amezcua races this buggy and doesn't do any mods to it except changes diff oils and shock oils. He used this buggy to win the US Nationals. It's as competetive as the Kyosho 7.5 series and the 777. Check this buggy out.
