I believe the 9 tooth ET48 pinion gear (TKR5405) is what folks were using on the rear end for underdriving the rear. Keep in mind you'll need to be running the straight cut ring gears for this to work.

Specifically you'll need the ring gear from the truggy, all of our gears are now straight cut

Almost all sct bodies can work with the correct body hole placement and body trimming. But the one you want to be a direct fit is any sct body that says it fits the losi scte. You also use the scte body mount hole placement for a direct fit on the Tekno.

It certainly does! You will need the extended body mounts... luckily they now make them for Tekno (I modified slash ones for mine). BTW the front bumper sits under the body, right up against it.

I don't suppose that you have a link for the part that you used?
BTW this will be for a scr410.3, I didn't see the other topic.

The pro-line extended body mounts for Tekno. I used the ones for the slash, but required some modification, because the Tekno ones weren't available at the time.

Few pics from racing this past weekend. Only the 2nd time I've raced my SCT410 (which I bought from a member here).

I'm running Associated 13mm X Rings in my shocks. They fit fine. They seem to seal better and keep dirt out better than the stock O Rings.

I went with Emulsion first. Then switched to non vented bladders. I do about 25% rebound. I think the bladders with the internal pressure resist bottoming better and rebound quicker. And with a heavy truck, I think it's helpful.

Default Buying Tekno SCT410 off Ebay need advice

Hi - Back into RC after buying my 7yr old a cheap basher. Last RC was a 1988-89 Losi JrX2. Happy to be back in. Just purchased a RTR 410.3 with a Tekin Pro 4 RX 8 setup. Couldn't be more stoked.

I'm thinking about buying another 410 off of ebay. So cheap right now because of the 410.3 and I think I can use this as a basher. Have a couple of questions. Is there an electronic setup that is not too expensive that can run 3s/maybe 4s to bash, and go back to 2s if me or my son races it?

I see some motor/esc combos for $200. One of these used 410's with a new chassis or even just a few skid plates and I could be RTR for $375!!! any advice is welcome from the experts here. Is this a good deal?
