550 vs 4pole
Cain the blaze 550 is smoother and more useable power. That is how some of us feel in my area.

Dont feel bad ,He beats me at our local track every week ! I have gotten him maybe 6-7 times out of...50 
!!
1st time out with his truck at our track for some reason he thought the truck would not work well but it was very hooked up.He used to get me by about half a lap with his old truck but the Tekno? it was a full lap!!!
I had to drive it.....Needless to say.

I'm running the HW 3656 4000kv 4pole with the bh lt4 and its work great. I was running Orion 4.5 550 2pole it was great in my losi but felt under powered in the tekno. I tried the pro4 4600 and couldn't get it to run right. The HW fits my needs the best for indoor racing and I feel it will be plenty fast out door if not there always the 4700kv HW.

Tekin 550 4.5 sensored with an RX8 esc. I have not hit the track yet, but does this sound pretty feasible with a 15 pinion?? Indoor clay (technical, not huge air, one long straight).

+1. I've certainly gotten faster and can drive with more confidence!! This truck and buggy has made me want to be at the track constantly. One of the best platforms out, and the customer service and support from the company and fellow racers is bar none the BEST!!!!

Cool whatever works for you. I do not see the need for the 4 pole motor at all i ran a Tekin 4 pole in a Terra Buggy it was just as fast. i like the smoothness of the 550 motor better. The fastest guy in my area runs a 550 in his truck for the same reson. Smooth feel. I like it so far who knows how i will feel after i go to more and bigger tracks.
