The DESC410 is soooooo much faster then the Losi. I didnt say it is stronger, but it handles and turns much faster lap times then the Losi or AE.

Only on the smoothest, highest traction tracks. Outdoors, the desc sucks.

I have question on the kit, will it include diff oil and shock oil for build or seperate so you can just run what you want?

I'm curious about that too. I've heard it will come with a setup, but not clear how that applies to something you build yourself. Unless it comes as a roller.

It will come with the recommended diff and shock oils. You must build yourself using these supplies.

Superslow, do you think that the 550 2 pole will have enough grunt for the SCT410? What diameter rotor is in that motor?

All I know if it handles anything like my Dingo and has the durability of a scte except for the rebuilding it once a month then I'm in :-)

Really looking forward to this truck. Spent this whole past summer trying to dial in my FT SC10 4x4. Ran that truck on an outdoor, natural dirt 1/8 scale layout. Traction was different every heat ranging from lots of traction to none. My friend and I got our trucks dialed pretty well, after LOTS of extra money, parts, and mods. Our trucks performed very well compared to other SC10s and a handful of Slash 4x4s. Toward the end of the season a Durango was raced and made the shortcomings of the SC10 very obvious. The 3 diff truck entered and exited every corner better and jumped and flew through the air with so much more control. I still won the main but had to drive way on the ragged edge, and cashed in on more mistakes from the Durango driver. Was dead set to enter the 2013 summer race season wheeling a Durango. Thankfully Tekno announced this vehicle and I immediately preordered one. Feeling very confident and ready to lay waste to all other trucks that I can. Bonus, no more SC10 4x4 forum. Only a few worthwhile posters on their (Cain, always viewed you as one of the educated, respectful guys on that forum and thank you for that.), but far too many big ego, arrogant idiots on there. Thankfully I like to do most of my own homework and testing. Great to see legit Tekno presence on here.

For the guys running the EB48. Are there any spare parts you'd suggest we keep on hand for the short course? Any of the optional parts that you find to be worth the upgrade?

Might get warm, but it you have a new one it would be worth a shot to use it.

The only thing I've ever broken on my EB48 is front arms, but the arms on the SCT410 are a new more indestructable material so I doubt that will happen with the truck. I did also eat up a spur gear because I didn't have the motor mount tightened all the way down (operator error).

I picked up some of the alloy option parts like center driveshaft and steering posts which I do like. I'm going to pick up the lightened outdrives/diff cups when they are available as well. Another thing to get would be springs to play with for different setups. I find myself changing springs often to help me get the car where it feels good to me.

Nobody has them yet, so hopefully a Tekno person can shed some light on this question.

I can say my EB48 arrived on Friday & the kit contained, diff fluid, shock oil, black grease, & thread lock.

I just took the 550 4.5t motor out of my SCTE and installed the 4600 for our tight technical track as i felt the motor was a little too punchy. If your looking for power, I don't think you will have any problem with the Reedy. The 4.5t ran around 150 after 8 mins in my SCTE.
