The chassis are interchangeable. The lightened chassis is ~60g+ lighter.

We're still running all kinds of different setups. I think I'll settle on 35/25 f/r with the new (stock) 10x1.2 pistons.

Spurs and front a arms , but those are "just in case items" . The a arm I broke would have happened with any other brand as well IMO . The EB48 is as tough as any other buggy on the market . The SCT410 will be even tougher IMO so maybe a backup spur gear ? Time will tell , but I buy what I see usually breaks from my experiences (a arms , knuckles/hubs , spur and diff gears etc. But my spares for the EB48 have been un needed so far after several race days and lots of practice days ...... |
I'm confused...since the SCT410 needs to lighter than the EB48, then why does it come with a chassis that is heavier than the EB48's?

2. Since the body already raises COG of the SCT, a bit more wight at the bottom helps getting that back lower. |

I bought a set of arms, haven't used one yet but it's a must-have imo. Also if you have the old Akerman plate, get a backup. |

Will the bumpers, towers and body mounts be available at the time 410 is available? Maybe I'll choose to route to convert a new 48 instead:D

However, I am curious, is the lightened chassis part of the overall weight savings mentioned where they saw benefits to it indoors? If so, does the raised COG of the body become negligible indoors versus outdoors? |
I ask before but without answer (maybe my fault).
So I ask again to the TEKNO guy : as the SCT410 used the same drivetrain as the EB48 did you test the sct410 with the set 6s/2500 with a Tekin 1400kv motor? (as it look to be the favorite setup for the EB48) or with a 1/8 motor? Thank |
didn't see anything using search for "convert", so if its there I accept the "use the search feature dumba$$ award" today.
But, has it been posted what exactly you would need to convert the EB48 to an SCT410 at a minimum? I remember it being asked, just not sure if an answer was ever given. |
Yes mr.tekno answered and he said it would be alot of parts to convert it! Where i woukd see it being costly is the hubs , hexes, arms, and just a PITA , to do!
|
he listed the exact parts?
