Well, i hope you are wrong, but I have no idea. If that is the case, good luck making 10min mains in the summer heat of Houston.

I am however very optimistic that this truck will kick arse!

Yeah, we've been keeping it quiet for the last few weeks. We'll have more features and pics coming soon.

This thing is raising the bar for the 4x4 SC class!

Some of the basics:
The SCT410 will share about 75-80% of the parts from the EB48 (diffs too). That means there are already spares on the market and there are already a load of options available before it gets released.

People have been clamoring for an SCT with true 1/8th scale roots and we have answered the call. But we didn't phone it in. There are a lot of newly designed parts on the car to replace some of the heavier 1/8th scale parts and keep the weight down.

In full trim (all bumpers, side guards, with a big 6400mah 2s battery) the truck is ~6.7lbs. With optional parts and a shorty pack, it's a couple ounces over the minimum at around ~5.7lb with room to possibly go even lower. We'll have a very simple how-to video explaining how we got the weight so low.

For indoor use we've found lighter is better. For outdoor tracks that are rougher, the truck feels better when it's a little heavier. The good part is that you can tailor it to just about any situation.

As far as durability, normally we're pretty modest, but we think it's the most durable truck on the market - hands down. Handling is consistent and can be tuned to suit different driving styles. Hard anodized 16mm shocks anyone?

nice. looking forward to pics, details, etc.

By the way, have you had any push back from place that are running the no conversions rule?

This is not a conversion. It's legal width, length, weight. It is a new kit. It uses 12mm SC wheels and 4mm wheel nuts just like every other SC 4x4 .
