I'm kind of surprised by your guy's bad luck with DE wheels. I've had nothing but good luck with SC10 4x4 +3mm's, and Losi SCTE Wheels. Never even close to a spun hex. I use serrated nuts (like those that come with the kit, not those bitch "serrated" ones.) And mine are perfect all the way to slicks.

I believe you guys, but it just surprises me.

I am not going there, as I was ranting about earlier; for the upcoming next round, but one guy will be. I don't have the gas money or the "patience" ;)

After looking at all the tekno builds for the last few weeks, something was bothering me. I think I know what it is. That truck is super black. Black shocks, black chassis, black springs and more black. Will the option parts be something other than black? Not really a huge deal once you put body on, lol. But i was just curious, I always like a few accents of color on the car/truck.

Went to 10k in the center diff and had excellent results. Acceleration seemed a bit faster, the car was more stable and it even seemed to give it a bit more steering. I would highly recommend 10k in the center diff when on a smooth, med-high bite, indoor clay track.

Most of the option parts are in a "Gun Metal" color.
Same finish as the front Hing Pin holder or the Motor mount. It definitely stands out.

We have all the available option parts on ours and they are a dark gun metal color.
The towers are actually darker though (almost black) then the diff holder, hinge pin holders, ackerman plate, EB48 chassis and shock parts.
They are not easily spotted due to being so dark in color.
The carbon servo holder are the only part that stand out due to color.

cool. Gun metal is nice. Been running AE for years. A little burned out on blue. I wish more people did red. Red and Black is sexy. I am waiting for taxes and spare parts to hit the shelves before I get mine. I believe the tekno to be the best out of the box option for sc4x4. After my Sc10 4x4 I am sure everything will be great, lol.
