Bobbo is running that esc with his 2 pole 2.5 550 can. We're burning them up constantly out here in 4x4. He's gonna need at least a 3.5 to keep up, and that esc gets questionable at that power level. RX8 solves all problems. Used ones can be had for $100.

I've watchedother videos of you posted here and directly on YouTube.always looks the same to me, good on smooth stuff not so good on not so smooth stuff.it seems like just about everyone I've seen anywhere drives pretty much the same, that's why I'm trying these new pistons, it felt good on the table and I've had very good luck before with the same theory.

Must just be the way I drive, never really feels too squirrelly to me. Just about every surface I run on is smooth and high bite during racing. Unfortunately this angle doesn't show the difference in the jumping but I think you can hear that when it jumps I'm not on the gas or the break. The box setup up I'd usually be on the gas in the air so that was a big difference.

It be nice to see more videos at least showing how someones truck is working on their type of track and what the setup is. Setups are really about all we have to talk about and one persons idea of pushing, locked-in, loose, planted, etc. might not be another's.

Where are you getting 2.5t and 3.5t 550 can motors? I have never seen one more then 4.0t for 4x4 sct. I will say that esc may not be up to the task of 4x4 sct. He may want to look into a viper combo or one from hobbywing.

True, it would be nice to be able to compare real info. What most people call high bite I consider loose and dusty out of the groove. The stock spring rates are a mystery to me. Take a 4x4 that's pretty much an 8th scale with a sc body, and put 2wd spring rates on it...

When he had a 3.5 it was a Trinity. Not sure what the 2.5 is. Probably the same.

Those must be old motors. I don't see them on Ernie's site.

Ill ask next time I see him. He always has the most ignorant fast truck out there. I asked what it was and as soon as he said "2.5 with a lotta boost", I just started giggling and walked away shaking my head. That's our Bobbo.

Anyone know which body posts I need to use for the Losi high performance body? Thanks.

Hey Tekno--can you report on the status/availability of the TiNi coated shock shafts?
Thanks!

Don't use a 2.5 or 3.5 ever. Use a 4.5 or 5.5 wind. What u wan't to do is undergear somewhat and use dynamic timing to get mid/top end up there to get the speed.
Thunderpower, Reedy, Orion makes excelent 550 2-poles.
