Been out of it for awhile. Last scte I had was the losi back when they had the pin problems. I used a mmp with a castle 3800 kv 4 pole.
Is this still a good setup ?
I still have this combo laying around.
I was about to buy another losi but I will wait.
I got involved with quarter scale cars and have been racing QSAC races, but there is a 3 month wait now until next season.

watching these 4x4 scts at our local track SDRC, it is one of the best trucks out there hands down! lands plush and very nimble, truck turns on a dime and by far one of the most durable trucks out there to date. great job danny and the whole tekno crew for putting a great product out for the masses

No way. I think he chassis is also the same as the buggy. Hoping for a badass kit as well.

No clue about that...
anyway, as low weight is key to get a fast SC especilly for high traction track (i.e. astro) i'm curious to see how Tekno will use EB48 parts or dedicated 1/10 size parts for that new car.
If the car is nice and light, I switch from my SCTE/BCE.

subscribed.

Danny, you must have the whole SDRC crew in cahoots to be able to keep these vehicles on the down low for ANY length of time!!!
I need to move back to California!!!!!

Will be curious to see what they change if they do a $400 max price.

I agree though that maybe getting the full option one out first would be better. This is obviously a racers kit, not some RTR.

Yeah a full blown race kit now at what ever it costs and maybe a cheaper version latter would be my preference. 4x4 is a tough one though as a lot of the racers are a lot more budget minded.

funny thing is the budget racers will buy the Kit cheap, then buy all the upgrades and end up spending more in the long run, and usually not too long after LOL.

For me personally, if its a durability upgrade,I rather have that out of the box than paying later for it. If its bling or mainly a lightening thing beyond a reasonable SCT weight, I am okay with buying that later.

Very true, I think we have all seen a $1000 slash or two and it is still a slash.
