Default Which bearings are best?

Telfon, rubber or metal sealed? Metal sealed seems to be the cheapest but some say they let too much dirt in.

teflon, or u can just get rubber and remove the inside seal. i do it on all my cars, yes its safe.

if your ordering bearings go to www.avidrc.com you can beat the prices anywhere $1.25 max for a bearing is truly awesome.

Thanks for that link. I'd probably buy enough to get the price down to $1.00. That's pretty good for rubber sealed.

all bearings are good if you know how to work on them....but Acer Ceramics are the best. I personally run Boca's.

They go on sale every now and then and they are way worth it. Id rather invest the money that will last a seasons of racing than have a cheap bearing fail and know me out of the main becasue my clutch froze up. Just food for thought!

Ok, I give in. What makes the ceramics so good? Do they last longer? Less rolling resistance? Who's got the best price?

They even weigh less than normal bearings....the ceramic material is lighter and stronger than their steel counterparts. If you have the cash and want the ultimate edge, Ceramic bearings are bar-none the best thing you can buy.
