There's no official shim. I used a lower control arm spacer from my XB8 vehicle. Basically, it's a 3x8mm plastic spacer. Adds 2mm to the front body mount. Anything like that will work.

2016 mod
Grinding noise coming from one of the diffs or drive line ? before i tear into this ,, is there a weak spot that i can focus on ? tks

do you know where its coming from.. front or rear.. i would check the diff ring and pinion gears..

looks like its # 304932 which i believe are the small satellite plastic gears?

HEY, I got to thank Brian from X-ray for taking care of this Today . Big tks ,,, It goes a long way & means a ton !!

Here's what I've been running for my 16 XB4 and would think would carry over to the 18 as well.

thank you I will look this over and test it out. I see that’s medium bite dirt. Im mainly struggling with traction rolling and struggling to get around the 180s tightly

I've been using this on high bite as well and works good with the 180s as well

I looked at my high bite setup that I last used and is close to same setup, the high bite track I was running on had a lot of sweeping turns
so I used different insert in the C & D block, but when the layout changed to a tighter track with more turns I used the setup that I posted.

2016 XB4 / tekin Gen3 6.5 - Where now eating front Diff 304932 Large #5 bevel gears like candy.. Thinking of changing to steel Satelite gears & Alum pinset? Possibly getting some flex ? IDK?

What center diff oil are you guys running on lower bite dirt. Tends to me a little lose and dusty. Thanks

Does X-ray have a gearing chart for the xb4 with a 5.5t and 13.5t motors? Thx

i have a bunch of wheels/tires for my other 4mod and am picking up an 18-xb4, does anyone know if the TLR 22-4 wheels fit?
