12 degree caster blocks have a night and day difference. Makes the car way easier to drive and you can drive it a lot harder into corners.

add rear hub carriers, front & rear shock towers, front steering brace and new side gaurds.. then you are close enough.

What gearing do you use for a 13.5 or 17.5 motor

Parts that directly affect performance due to revised geometry/design or material are:
  • Front and rear shock towers (revised geometry)
  • Front and rear a-arms (revised geometry)
  • Chassis with front and rear chassis braces (revised geometry/weight balance/flex)
  • Chassis side guards (revised material/harder)
  • Front top deck (new design compared to '15 option deck = more flex/steering/front grip)
  • New 3 pad slipper (more consistent/easier to fine tune)
  • New rear uprights (revised lower roll center/alu. options are the same as '15)

It will be quite expensive to upgrade from the '15 to the '16 and I would rather suggest selling the '15 and buying a '16.
Option parts from the '15 can be carried over to the new '16.

If you fill out a setup sheet on the TeamXray site and post the link here it would be a lot easier to give suggestions as the options are quite a few

I run 69T associated spur with 32-33T pinion with an ORCA RX3 17.5.
Have to use the slipper assembly from a '15 spec in a '16

Hi does anyone have a good setup sheet for for medium to loose dirt tracks with pretty big jumps for a 2015 xb4. The track we run on here is built for 1/8th scales.

Thanks for any help.

Move the arms forward, this will shift the weight of the car more towards the rear. Should give you less overall steering, but I find it's still a lot.

As mentioned, the 12* caster blocks will do wonders but they are expensive.

Anyone know if the 2015 and 2016 steering parts are the same?
