Thank you, Do you think the '15 will work on the '14? I mean I'm sure it would but would it give me problems when running it? Or could I close up the 3.5mm/side gap with Velcro maybe?

what is this body for? XRA369701 XB4 DMX Body
And has anyone bought from this buyer on ebay that makes the bodies? His feedback seems like the bodies are pretty good.

I think the DMX body was for the original XB4 2wd, it should fit the '14 spec car, but I think there was a shorter front body post to match the shell. You could always cut down the post you have.

I'm curious if anyone knows how the stock plastic rear hubs compare to the vertical ballstud aluminum hubs in terms of placement - I would have to run "X" mm of spacers to be the same as the plastic stock hub. Thanks!

That body fits the 2014 car. I ran one and liked it better than the stock body.

Smh.

If you want the stock body they are $32 plus shipping at amain. By the time you get it you'll be out $40. So $45 doesn't sound like a bad deal imo.

Does anyone run the XB4 '16 with a Tekin RSX with the fan and heat sink on it? If so, any chance someone could post a piccy of the layout? Also, how close does the fan come to the body?

I run an RSX in my '16, clears the body fine as long as you run the wires out the side and not up.

Default Motor & ESC

I'm expecting my new KIT XB4 and I'm coming from nitro 1:8th. I have no idea how to choose motor and ESC. I'm reading that motor's KV in relation to the battery has huge effect on runtime.

What do you guys recommend for motor in KV ? And what Pinion gear i may need? What adjustments to do for big tracks outdoor and what for indoor?

Also happent to have a reedy sonic motor size 550 & 5.5 turns / 3730KV. Can i use this one ?

Thanks in advanced.

Looking at giving off-road a try.. there seem to be some good deals on '13/'14'/'15... How would an older '13 hold up compared to a newer version??? I'm not looking to have the hottest technology but if it's really worth the upgrade, i'd rather get the newer model...

any feedback helps... it will be run on an outside dirt/clay track... 180x85...

thanks

I can't speak for dirt/clay tracks, but I drove a mates box standard '16 car a couple of weeks back on damp, slippy astro & it felt A LOT better then my '13 car, that is pretty well setup for our track.
