Thanks
My 2013 never worked well at the suggested ride height on a bumpy clay track. I ended up running more like 23f/22r to work well.

Now I'm searching for replacements and none are available. Not driving related as I rarely hit anything.

Is this a normal problem for these buggies? At $25 a pop this will be an expensive buggy to run.
I twisted on off like you are describing. Only on my 15 when it was new. Sure was weird, as the 14 never had the issue.

check Ebay.. Normally some good new parts available.

Increased reliability and slightly better cornering. Will you notice better lap times? Probably not but I broke a front shaft in the same place everyone else did with just hitting a pipe. You can't beat the spec r shafts IMO.

I haven't found one from another manufacturer that is designed for the xb4. There might be one that fits but it would take trial and error.

The xray one shouldn't be hard to find.

I have picked up the xb-4 '14 from a guy on here. I haven't got to mess with it yet but I will soon. I've just finished reading about 500 pages out of the 560 wow! Lots of good info here thanks.

I have one of these coming as well. I have been out of off road for quite some time, looking forward to running 4wd buggy again!(my last car would have been a Cat XL...)

Will be using it on a large out door track(35sec. laps) that is mixed clay hard pack, that can get blown out and dusty, and is fairly bumpy. Traction levels would be considered med to low.

Looking for some advice on the differences in battery layout and what each is intended for. Also some advice on chassis starting set up for the track I will be running on would be most helpful!!

Any and all tips and tricks, what works, what doesn't, I am all ears.

Cheers,

The kit setup with 1 dot rear springs should be pretty good. I would run saddles and center diff with 100k to start. Also ride height 23mm. You can unscrew the shock ends a little to get more droop also, just make sure the driveshafts aren't binding in the outdrives under full extension and compression. The stock pistons are ok, a little smaller in diameter than they should be so I like the Schelle 1.1/1.5 pistons front and 1.1/1.6 in the rear with 37.5/30 oil depending on temp.
