Correct but that is mostly on astro tracks. For clay tracks I would go 500k tops. The average medium bite track works best with 100k IMO.

Yes……for med to high traction tracks like carpet and astro we use 1.000.000cst diff grease for the center diff.

For low to medium traction tracks like dirt, clay and wet astro we use 500.000cst.

Have tested close to every thinkable combination since we started running the center diff last summer and these are our go to setups

I was wondering if I should lightly lube the diffs internal graphite gears before installing in the diff. I know to lightly grease the aluminum diff pins with graphite grease.

For 3.5 degrees toe use 0 insert on the right and 1 out on the left. To get 3 deg toe use .5 in on right and .5 out on left.

You dont need the front shaft. Your 88 mm front will work in place of the 85.

Quick question,

I am going to install graphite gears in the F C and R diffs, in doing so I was wondering if I should very lightly coat the 4 satellite gears and 2 bevel gears with graphite grease?
Basically wondering if doing this is beneficial or not.

Any input would be greatly appreciated.

No, not needed the diff fluid will act as a lubricant.

Thanks Dustin, I pretty much figured diff oil was more than adequate. but being new to graphite gears I was uncertain if they needed to be pre-lubed.

Also, after your first couple of runs open up the diffs; you may need to add more fluid. After that they don't need much maintenance.

Regarding diffs, would lightly coating the diff gaskets with green slime promote a better seal? I know soaking the diffs orings in a little oil for a half day and thus after soaking applying a little green slime to them really works well in sealing the diff at the out drives.

No Green slime needed, soak the rings in diff fluid and build. The gasket doesn't need anything either.

The whole point of green slime is to prevent the o-rings from the swelling caused by the silicone oil...I just pull the o-rings out and put green slime of them and install them into the diffs or shocks. No soaking in oil. No leaks. As for the diff gaskets I add a drop of oil to them just to get them to lay flat and hold them in place while I assemble everything together.
