Any unforseen issues with switching to 12mm hexes on the 4wd '14 ?

No problems whatsoever using the Xray 12mm hexes

Can't comment on the other offerings out there but I would think they work just as well.

The big plus of the Xray hexes is you have several thicknesses to choose from to match the most commonly used offsets from other manufacturers

Would you happen to know which offset works for TLR? I have a TLR 22 buggy and wouldn't mind rotating my rear tires.

Thanks! I just created my account and shipping charges aren't too expensive. How long did it take for your items to arrive at your doorstep? It looks like it can take up to 5 days to ship.

Anyone tried the dhawk parts on ebay? Was looking at the shock caps and cups. Way cheaper than exotek. Just a little leary about the quality.
Did you notice any difference in cornering with the Spec R front drive shafts? Trying to decide whether it's worth trying them out.

No problem my friend,

Around 6 days. I have another order that just left today. Whats nice is you can track the package as they provide the tracking info in the final inoice they email the day your stuff goes out. Thus they also have the tracking link included in their email notifying of your order shipping. Great place!

Just got the driveshafts a couple days ago. Will be running them tonight and tomorrow for the first time. I'll post what I find out.

I ran the Spec R driveshafts all last summer. They are really nice and well made. A friend who runs those type of driveshafts in TC said not to bother lubing them, and then in August they fell apart, lol. I rebuilt them and used the Hudy graphite grease from the kit on them. The barrels in them were worn, and showed signs of heat, but that was my fault. Honestly I did not see any major improvement, another guy running a standard '13 kit out qualified me most nights anyhow.

Can the hardened aluminum diff pins be used with the graphite gears? Also does anyone know if graphite compound gears run quiter than the steel gears? Kind of crazy I guess but I like a quiet running rig.

Thanks

Thanks Bent! Would it be wise to run the graphite gears in the center gear diff or just run the regular composites gears that come with the center gear diff kit?

Thanks again,

Joel
