In regards to people such as team drivers or anybody else not noticing, many of them are likely just blinded because they "Drink Xray's Kool-Aid", and are convinced it has to be right.

In case some people aren't familiar with my reference about "Drinking the Kool-Aid" here it is in very short-

Jim Jones started a cult. Many people would take his word as gospel, so much that, when things weren't going so well and the news was about to print an expose, he gathered all the members and convinced 912 people, including their children, that the best option was a mass suicide. They all drank grape flavored "Flavor-Aid"(not actually Kool-Aid, but that is the expression), laced with cyanide and valium, and were dead in 5 minutes. Jones did not drink it, he died of a gunshot to the head.

The moral of the story is, if you put anybody on a pedestal and take their word as gospel, you are in danger of being mislead because you want to believe they are infallible.

Don't drink the Kool-Aid.

Wouldn't it be funny if we started seeing team driver setup sheets showing mis-matched inserts....lol. Unfortunately the downloadable editable setup sheet won't even allow you to mis-match them, you click on one and it mirrors it on the other side.

Thanks. I'm pretty sure all TLR 22-4 wheels are 12mm hex. At least they are on my 22 2.0. I have D413 on back order now but I highly doubt I'm in this shipment and may end up biting the bullet on the xb4 2015

Maybe you got what he was saying, but just to be sure- The Xray has 14mm hexes, to fit TLR wheels you have to get a set of Aluminum 12mm hex adapters for the car, JConcepts and Exotek make some, just be sure they are the right width/offset.http://www.stormerhobbies.com/cgi-bi...umb=on&smode=0

Most likely on carpet though, I think the higher roll center/wider track would be more suited to carpet, while a lower roll center might lean more towards dirt/clay, and I'm guessing the shim plays into that as well, perhaps allowing a lower ride height without as much dogbone plunge/arm angle?

That's his carpet set up.

Actually Bayer really likes his +2 RR hanger and the chassis spacer - he used it and won the Euro outdoor offroad race back in 2013 I think - Valloioide?. Check for photos on petitrc set up section...the set up sheet says he's using the standard '13 RR hanger, but the photos show another, at the time prototype RR+2 hanger being used.

Nice find as well on the Team C hanger, but dang, they're $33! I thought Xray was supposed to be the expensive brand, lol. I'd like to see one mounted up as well with the bushings and confirmed on the CMM...looks good though!

i always read xray is expensive, xray is not cheap thats right. but they have the same price all around the world. thats the different to other brands. we in europe pay for asso the same money as for xray. And a lot more for kyosho or HB!

While it seems you guys have found a legitimate issue and from measuring my 2015, it appears the ride side of my rear hanger is .5mm wider than the left . . . I will say that I never noticed a performance issue with my car. In fact, I've owned a 2013 and 2x 2014 and my 2015 is the best of them all. My 2015 feels incredible. I'm not saying you guys shouldn't complain, but I absolutely love the way my car performs on the track.

We're not so much complaining that it is wrong...We are more pissed off at XRAY's response to the issue.

I'm not sure if this has been discussed yet or not, but are the brass rear holders also offset? or are they correct.
