The whole purpose is so that you can run b44 or kyosho wheels with the same offset.

+1 measurements of the offset with Kyosho rims are the same as stock wheels.

Anyone using the LRP Flow speedo in their XB4? I have one and I'm trying to decide on the best way to mount it in the buggy, I assume I'll have to remove the wire management post(s) in the chassis. Anyone have a picture of the Flow in their buggy?

Prob best to cut off the wire hold down, can always put a lil glob of goop to hold your wire along the side

I agree, but with the numbers he posted between his previous hexes, they seemed pretty large that appeared to make it sound wider.

The Traxxas hexes a few of were running did in fact narrow the rear of the car. It was a temporary fix until some purpose-made hexes were available. That said, I picked up a set of TRA3654 wide hexes (8.2mm according to my calipers) to try this weekend.

The 3654's (Slash fronts) are the ones you want for the rear. The Slash rears are too narrow.
