Thats a really good price! Especially after you add in the $25 off coupon code.

Default NT1 Gears

Guy’s

Just a quick question. When up grading the diffs in the XB4 fitting them out with NT1 Gear set.

Do you use the new up grade diff housings that xray supplied?Which are slightly different.

Thanks for your help........

The upgrade "diff bulkhead block" is the same inside dimensions and has no affect regarding the gears. Notice too that upgrade is just for the front.
The upgrade "diff bevel gear 35t-v2" is thicker. The metal NT1 gears are thicker as well. If using the NT1 gears and the upgrade 35t-v2 gear together you may want to take a close look at the fitment.
I'm running metal gears in the original "diff block" and the original "35t gear" with no shims, did it before the upgrade came and it's working well. Still have the original gears and case shimmed in the other end.
So I haven't upgraded yet.
and with a 10% a-main code I grabbed a 3rd XB4 for $370 shipped

I'm still working on my XB4 setup (outdoor dirt) but in a few words, more steering and less rear stability.

Shameless bump to get this back on the 1st page and wanted to show off a great painter's work.

Here's my picture. Spotted in my unusually messy pit with my secret tires. It had been sprinkling rain that morning and I had no confidence in the track.

What is the consensus on the shock towers? My kit will be here soon with the upgrade parts too. Does the upgrade help with them breaking or should I look to the aftermarket?
